Tomorrow is October 4, the date set by Google to announce major changes to its production line. Among the foreseeable novelties that we will find there is something that is already more than certain: the definitive burial of the Nexus range of mobiles and tablets, to replace them with the Pixel range, for now consisting only of Pixel and Pixel XL phones, of which We've already seen a few leaks but haven't been able to see up close yet. In this way, and as in all funerals, we will remember the brief existence (five years) of the Nexus rangeof mobiles, highlighting their strengths, and being kind to their weaknesses, that this is a funeral and in these situations one has to be discreet.

The N exus 6P, manufactured by Huawei, raised the size of its AMOLED screen to 5.7 inches with Full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The processor was a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 with eight cores and 3 GB of RAM and the internal memory possibilities were three: 32, 64 or 128 GB. The rear camera of the Nexus 6P remained the same as the 5X, but the front one went up to 8 megapixels and an aperture of f / 2.4. The fingerprint sensor, the USB-C port and the 6.0 operating system also remained the same.
They were two high-level phones, however we already had phones like the Galaxy S6 + or the iPhone 6 Plus on the scene, and the results in terms of public reception did not seem to satisfy the American brand, who decided to shelve behind these two models.
With this article we say goodbye to Nexus and hello to Pixel, we hope that this new family of smartphones will last and participate in this competitive escalation of next-generation mobiles that makes us enjoy so much.
