Yesterday, November 16, Apple released iOS 13.1.3, a new update to its operating system. And, right after launching it, the first bug reports have already started. As we have been informed by some users of iPhones and clients of operators such as Movistar or Vodafone, as soon as they updated their phone to this latest version, their terminals were left without coverage, thus preventing them from making any phone call, something that can be quite problematic, especially among workers who depend on calls to perform their tasks.
This new error appears when updating to the latest version of iOS 13.1.3. This error is causing the phone to be unable to detect the 4G network, leaving users without coverage. If they restart the terminal, they would recover the signal for a few moments, and then fail again, cutting off the calls after fifteen secondsstarting. The impossibility of the phone being able to connect to 4G networks also implied a rather marked drain on the battery, as it was continuously trying to connect to it. Apparently, Apple is working on an update to correct this serious error that leaves iPhone users unable to connect to high-speed 4G networks. It is also to be confirmed whether the error is only recorded by Movistar and Vodafone customers or affects more telephone operators.
If you have an iPhone and you have not yet updated to the latest available iOS 13.1.3 version, we recommend that you do not do so and wait for the Cupertino to launch the iOS 13.1.4 version to correct this error. This version, the last to date and the one that has caused errors to some users, came to correct, in turn, other system errors. Literally, the iOS 13.1.3 change report announced that it "includes improvements and bug fixes for the iPhone."
It is important to always keep your devices up to date, although there are honorable exceptions. In this case, for example, updating today would mean a deterioration in the performance of your phone, so nothing happens if you don't update yet. Also, because it is a rather serious error, we do not believe that Apple developers will take too long to launch it. Whether you have updated or not, you should be aware of notifications and update as soon as it is released. But, be careful, first check which version you are going to install, taking care that it is not iOS 13.1.3.
And you, have you noticed any problems?
