What's new in Android 10 and MIUI 11 for Xiaomi mobiles
If we talk about the news of the latest version of Android on Xiaomi phones, the announced list is practically non-existent. In fact, much of the news will come from the hand of MIUI 11 and not Android 10.
The main and most striking is that now security updates can be downloaded and installed through the Google Play Store. New privacy controls are also integrated to visualize the use of the applications with the components of the phone (GPS, WiFi, camera…) and the application Digital Wellbeing and Google Parental Control is implemented, as well as the Quick Responses function of Android 10.
So, what news does MIUI 11 bring? In addition to a complete redesign of icons, menus and animations, Xiaomi's layer performance has been optimized to offer a better experience in games and applications. Speaking of games, the company has integrated a new mode called Game Turbo with which we can optimize the performance of games by limiting background processes.
Another novelty that comes with MIUI 11 is the implementation of My Share to share files with Oppo and Vivo phones instantly and a printing mode to print documents and images on any WiFi printer. Part of the system applications are also redesigned and dark mode is made compatible with a greater number of menus and applications.
Finally, the company will implement a new version of the MIUI launcher with an application drawer, as well as a fully customizable Always On Display mode.
