Yesterday we made you a summary of the news that had been concentrated in recent days, either in the form of rumors or by leaks that revealed images of the supposed iPad 3 "" or whatever the new Apple tablet comes to be called "". However, we already imagined that it would not be the latest foray of the company's new device in the field of unofficial information, and today from Pocket Now we have been able to verify it.
We say this because from the aforementioned website we have seen some captures made on behalf of the Chinese website MIC Gadgets, in which it can be verified without problem that the iPad 3 is, as had been said, thicker than the iPad 2. At the least, as long as demos for good the photographs that has left bare the aforementioned website.
What the images that have come to light represent are comparisons between the iPad 2 and the case "" only the outer case "" of the supposed iPad 3. This is not the finished terminal, as it shows how the spaces dedicated to the sound control and the lock button are hollow. That is why it could be a more false arrangement than a three-euro bill, or, indeed, be one of the pieces extracted from the factories where it is assembled into a new device.
As we say, the alleged case of the iPad 3 is notably thicker than that of the iPad 2 according to these captures, although from MIC Gadget they do not specify exactly how fat the new terminal is. Estimates place the increase in the new terminal between one and 1.5 millimeters. However, at first glance, it could be said that the index would be higher than that measure, although in the absence of an exhaustive assessment it is difficult to refine the data.
On the other hand, among the photos that MIC Gadget has managed to collect, images of the iPad 3 assembly line have also been seen, in which you can see screenshots of what appear to be component supplies. In several of the boxes that appear represented in a photograph, it seems to be appreciated the stamp of the South Korean Samsung, which would suggest that it has finally been the supplier of the iPad 3 screens.
However, this is a hasty conclusion. And it should be remembered that the Asian company has been one of Apple's device component suppliers for many years. In fact, theirs is the technology that serves as the basis for the processor that the Cupertino mobile terminals have installed, although the continuity in the commercial relations between the two was in danger during the patent war that they maintained during the past year.
