The HTC Desire 626 is a new smartphone from the Taiwanese company HTC that will become part of the mid-range of the Desire mobile catalog. Although it has not yet been officially presented, a leak put us on the track of its characteristics a little less than a month ago. And, on this occasion, it is a new Asian certification that practically confirms the technical specifications with which the new HTC Desire 626 will be presented.
As revealed by the certification of the Asian organization China's Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center that the HTC Desire 626 has passed, this smartphone will be presented with a five-inch screen with 1,280 x 720 pixels resolution. Measures the Desire 626 will reach 146.9 x 70.9 x 8.19 mm (weighing set in 135 grams), so we are talking about a terminal that will have a size similar to that of the HTC Desire 610 launched early last year 2014 (143.1 x 70.5 x 9.6 mm and 143 grams).
We are talking about a mid-range mobile, and this is confirmed by the characteristics that the HTC Desire 626 hides under its casing. As noted this certification, the Desire 626 incorporates a processor MediaTek of eight cores running at a clock speed of 1.7 GHz. The capacity of the RAM memory is 1 GigaByte (at first it was thought that they were 2 GigaBytes, although this last data has finally been denied in the certification, because the capacity is 1 GigaByte), and the internal storage space is of 8 gigabytes(expandable using a microSD card with a maximum capacity yet to be determined).
The HTC Desire 626 incorporates also a main chamber 13 megapixels with Flash LED, a front camera of five megapixel, connectivity 4G (Internet ultrarapid through the data rate, with a speed of up to 150 Mbps) and a battery with 2,000 mAh capacity.
Note also that the filtration released earlier this year spoke of the HTC Desire 626 would be available in a variant with a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 of four cores running at a clock speed of 1.2 GHz. The certification does not make any reference to this data, although in the case of an Asian body, we must not rule out the possibility that the variant with the Qualcomm processor is precisely the one we will receive in Europe - and, therefore, that would be the reason which there is no trace of her in this Chinese certification.
The HTC Desire 626 will probably be presented at MWC 2015 to be held in the city of Barcelona (Spain) between March 2 and 5. The presentation of HTC will take place on March 1, and in principle that will be the date on which we will know the details related to this new mid-range mobile.
