Rumors continue about the new high-end of the Redmi brand, owned by Xiaomi, which, from the Redmi Note 7, decided to fly alone. This new terminal, which would serve as the flagship of a brand with affordable prices (remember that the aforementioned Note 7 is priced at 200 euros in its version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage), will be called Redmi K20 and we have already seen its first renders.
In the filtered image we can see the rear of the terminal, which would confirm the triple photographic sensor composed of two lenses assembled in the same piece and a third free sensor. Right below we would have the LED flash and no trace of the fingerprint sensor. According to all the leaked rumors, the fingerprint sensor would be housed under the screen although this has not yet been confirmed, and it can also be located on a side button. At the bottom of the terminal, which in the image appears with a striking flaming red color, we could see the logo of the brand, Redmi. This render appears days before its launch.
AMOLED screen, triple camera and fingerprint sensor under the screen
It is speculated that the new Redmi K20 will hit stores in two versions: a standard Redmi K20 accompanied by a Pro version of it. The Redmi K20 Pro, which remains in the most absolute of secrets when compared to the Redmi K20, would come close to the postulates of the Pocophone F1, looking closely at the most gamers with a Snapdragon 855 processor with Game Turbo 2.0 technology for the video game optimization, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of memory, without an alternative to expansion via microSD card, something that must be taken into account. The conventional Redmi K20 will have inside the Snapdragon 710 that reaches a maximum clock speed of 2.2 GHz.
The triple camera configuration, as we see in the render, as well as the fingerprint sensor configuration under the screen, without notches, and with a pop-up pop-up camera could belong, exclusively, to the most advanced of the range, the Redmi K20 Pro. According to rumors seen previously, the economic model Redmi K20 would have a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution incorporating a new technology that reduces screen flickering, thus reducing visual fatigue in the user.
More features filtered, without knowing if they will belong to the more modest model or the Pro: following in the wake of other cheap terminals of the Redmi brand, such as the Redmi Note 7, we would have a large 4000 mAh battery in the next Redmi K20. providing enough energy for a day of very intense use or a day and a half for a more moderate use. The triple rear camera would be manufactured by Sony and its main ultra-wide-angle sensor would have 48 megapixels. The emerging front camera would have Artificial Intelligence technology and would have 20 megapixels. We could also have NFC connectivity to pay through the mobile and, something that usually matters a lot, indicate that we will have a headphone output.
The next Redmi K20 will be presented on May 28 in China. Then we can already know prices and when it could arrive in Spain.
