The Chinese mobile phone brand Meizu has just confirmed its first high-end of 2017. The Meizu Pro 7 will be presented on July 26 at the Opera House. Likewise, it has just released a series of promotional images or teasers in which the secondary screen can be seen. Thus, all the rumors about it are confirmed. The owners of a new Meizu Pro 7 will have a mobile device with two screens. The first 5.2 inches. The other, smaller, at the back of it.
A secondary screen to discover
Let's focus: First of all, we will talk about the peculiar second screen that houses the back of the new Meizu Pro 7. It is a 2-inch screen and it is not known very well if it will house electronic ink or it will be a full color panel. In the event that it is electronic ink, we can find a precedent in the Yotaphone 2 phone, a Russian device whose innovation was not very well received. Among the functions, yet to be confirmed, that we expect on this rear screen can be found:
- Main dual camera viewfinder, like a reflex camera
- Music mode with playback viewer
- Lock mode with information about time, clock, news, etc.
According to all rumors, the new Meizu Pro 7 would have a 5.2-inch screen and Full HD resolution. As for the photographic section, we would also have a double 12 megapixel main camera. Attention, because the selfie section brings surprise: no less than 16 megapixels, this Meizu Pro 7 being one of the few terminals that prioritizes the selfie over traditional photography (at least in lens resolution).
We look at the processor. We would find the Mediatek Helio X30, a 10-core chip with a clock speed of 2.5 GHz. According to the company itself, a processor is efficient to run large processes and minimize the impact on autonomy. With the new Mediatek Helio X30 we can save up to 25% battery.
Little else is officially known about this new Meizu Pro 7, so we will closely follow the event on July 26 to give a good account of it.
