Nokia Tune is the tone that Nokia mobiles have used for years. On the street, in bars or even in television commercials, the characteristic tone of the Finnish company has been heard. Well, Nokia wants to renew it and get a new tone for its future terminals. For this, it has called a contest in collaboration with the audio company AudioCraft, to get together the tones created by the contestants.
Nokia will complete its range of advanced mobiles during next year 2012. During this period, Nokia will have new Symbian mobiles such as the expected mobiles that equip the new Microsoft icons: Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. So you want to renew the ringtone that currently sounds in your entire catalog.
Nokia and AudioCraft have set up a web page where you can listen to the contestants' melodies and vote for them. The contest will end next October 5 and there will be five finalists voted by a jury and five more finalists chosen by the popular voice and through the web. Thus, there will be a total of ten finalists. All melodies must have a maximum length of 30 seconds and the jury must choose one of them as the next Nokia ringtone.
Both the winning tone and the five finalists will be included in Nokia's Ovi store for download. Of course, the winner will be able to see how his tone is included in one 100 million terminals around the world.
