The high-end this year is on fire. Although there is no mobile that has revolutionized the market, we do have some very interesting proposals. But two of the most important are the top terminals of Samsung and LG. Both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the LG G6 have surprised with a screen without frames. On the other hand, we have Apple's proposal that, for now, is still the iPhone 7. And we say for now because, in theory, in September we will have the new model. So we wanted to make a comparison of prices and offers of the Samsung Galaxy S8, iPhone 7 and LG G6.

Samsung Galaxy S8

This year Samsung wanted to surprise more with the design than with the technical set. We do not mean to say that there is no progress in this regard, but some things from last year are preserved.

Among the features of the Samsung Galaxy S8 are:

Now that we know its characteristics, let's see where and at what price we can buy the Samsung Galaxy S8.

• If we are looking for the most competitive price, in Amazon we can find the Samsung Galaxy S8 for 650 euros. However, we must bear in mind that it is the Italian version of the terminal. This means that we will not be able to use Samsung Pay or access Samsung Members. If we prefer the Spanish version, we will have it available for 730 euros.
• On eBay we can also get the Samsung Galaxy S8 for 640 euros. However, it comes from China, so we will have to make sure that it is a version compatible with our mobile network.
• If we prefer it as an operator, at Vodafone we can get it for 744 euros. We can also pay it financed by 31 euros per month for 24 months.
• If we are Orange customers, we can achieve it with the renew plan for 21.95 euros per month for 24 months. Or by hiring a rate of 29 euros per month for 24 months.
• In Movistar its price will be the usual, 810 euros.

In the rest of the distributors we can buy it with its official price, 810 euros. At the moment it is early to find it lowered at a general level.

LG G6

The LG G6 is another of the star terminals of this year. It was launched before the Samsung Galaxy S8, but still the comparisons are inevitable. And it is that LG has also bet all this year on the design and the screen.

Among the characteristics of the LG G6 are:

• Aluminum and glass design with very few leading edges
• IP68 certification
• Screen 5.7 inches with a resolution Quad HD +
• Processor Snapdragon 821 quad - core (two 2.4 GHz and two 2GHz)
• 4 GB RAM memory

• 13 + 13 megapixel dual camera ( standard lens with f / 1.8 aperture + 125-degree wide-angle lens with f / 2.4 aperture)
• 5 megapixel front camera with f / 2.2 aperture

As you can see, the LG G6 is a mobile with a great design and enviable technical characteristics. But how much does this terminal cost? The official launch price was 750 euros. This was precisely one of his great criticisms, since for many the price was excessive.

However, in recent weeks we have seen the price of the LG G6 fall rapidly. Let's see at what price we can buy it now:

• In Amazon we can find the LG G6 with a price of 522 euros. However, it is not the model sold by Amazon, so we will have to pay shipping. If we trust more in a model sold by Amazon, the cost amounts to 628 euros.
• A few days ago we saw an offer on eBay to get the LG G6 for 480 euros. It is a great price, but, like the S8, we must bear in mind that it comes from China.
• If we prefer it as an operator, at Movistar we have it available for 500 euros.
• In Orange we can get it for 558 euros. However, a free LG K8 is included.
• And in Vodafone we can buy it for 528 euros or 22 euros per month for 24 months. We will also receive a 64 GB microSD card as a gift.

In the rest of stores, such as Media Markt or El Corte Inglés, its current price is 700 euros.

iPhone 7

Although it is the longest in the market, the iPhone 7 is still one of the most sought after terminals. Perhaps if we only read the technical characteristics we do not understand why, but iOS has a large part of the blame for its success. This symbiosis between hardware and software makes it a very interesting terminal.

Although Apple does not usually give many technical data, we do know some of the characteristics of the iPhone 7:

• Metallic design with bright new colors
• IP67 certification
• Screen Retina 4.7 inches with a resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels
• A10 Fusion chip with 64-bit architecture
• Up to 256GB of internal storage
• 12 megapixel main camera with f / 1.8 aperture
• 7 megapixel front camera with f / 2.2 aperture
• Autonomy of up to 14 hours on WiFi

As we have said, the iPhone 7 has been on the market since September last year. Still, it is very rare to see Apple smartphone deals. Its official price in the apple store starts at 770 euros for the model with 32 GB of storage. What is the price in the rest of the stores?

• At Amazon we have a good option to get the iPhone 7 with a price of 630 euros. There are other cheaper options, but they are not shipped by Amazon.
• If we want to get an iPhone 7 on sale, eBay may be an option. For example, in this German store they sell it for 620 euros. However, we will have to take into account the issue of guarantees and shipments.
• If we prefer it as an operator, at Movistar we have it available for the same 770 euros.
• At Orange, as normally happens, it will cost us much less if we are clients. With the renew plan we can get it for 618 euros. And with a fee we will have it for 690 euros.
• At Vodafone, the cash price will be 720 euros. But we can pay it financed by 30 euros a month for 24 months.

In the rest of distributors the price is the same as in Apple. As we said, it is very rare to find Apple equipment at a discount.

iPhone 7 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S8 +

We cannot leave out of this comparison the respective 'Plus' models of the iPhone 7 and the Samsung Galaxy S8. Although they are very similar to their little brothers, they include some very interesting improvements.

The iPhone 7 Plus includes a larger screen, 5.5 inches. But the most remarkable thing about this model is its double camera. We have two 12 megapixel sensors, a wide angle and a telephoto lens. This system allows a 2x optical zoom and an impressive bokeh effect.

Its official price starts from 910 euros in almost any store. As with the other terminals, we can find it on sale on Amazon and eBay.

As for the operators, in Movistar it has a price of 860 euros. In Vodafone we can find it for 876 euros and in Orange for 890 euros.

As for the Samsung Galaxy S8 +, the only difference with its little brother is the screen size. This model has a spectacular 6.4-inch screen. The rest of the characteristics are the same.

With the Samsung Galaxy S8 + something similar happens. If we want to buy it free with a lower price we will have to resort to Amazon or eBay.

Although if we prefer to buy it in operators we must know that in Movistar it is available for its official price, 910 euros. In Vodafone its price is 852 euros or 35.50 euros per month. And in Orange the cheapest way will be with the renew plan, with which it will cost just over 620 euros.
