Roaming rates comparison for this summer
Table of contents:
Are you planning to leave the country this summer? Have you booked a week of vacation in some remote part of the world and you have no idea how you can communicate? If you want to walk not looking for a WiFi network throughout the day and you do not mind paying a little more in the concept of roaming, maybe you should find out what the rates currently offered by your carrier are. Although it is true that the European Union has imposed a mandatory lowering of the processes, talking and browsing on the mobile outside of Spain is still more expensive (especially outside the old continent). If you do not want to be surprised on your return bill, we recommend that you consult this guide, with a summary of the roaming rates offered by the most important operators in our country.
Movistar
The first roaming rates that we are going to take a look at are those of Movistar. If you plan to travel to Europe and you think that you are going to talk and surf a lot (that is, you are not going to make one or two specific calls), you have the option of contracting one of these two rates:

Since relatively recently, the operator has offered free roaming from any country in Europe and the United States (for RED rates and offers convergent with these rates for mobile phones). You will be able to do all your procedures without having to contract any additional fee. It will, in fact, as if you were consuming your calling minutes and GB from Spain. In this way, you can make calls and send SMS to other numbers in Spain, but also to other numbers of the country you are visiting. You can also do the same, but other countries that are under the umbrella of the Zone 1 : This includes those of the European Union, the United States, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Albania and Turkey. If you are a Vodafone customer, you will have to activate this service by accessing My Vodafone, but it will not cost you anything more than what you usually pay for the rate you have contracted.
