The low cost operators have bitten part of the cake that supposes the high of mobile lines in the rates of calls and data. There are two companies that have managed to establish themselves in the market in less than a decade: Llamaya and Pepephone. The two have a similar list of rates that combines mobile, fiber and fiber and mobile combined plans. Which company is cheaper? Which one offers the most mobile data? Mobile rates
The differences between Pepephone and Llamaya within the segment of mobile rates are clear: while Pepephone is committed to simplifying its catalog, Llamaya offers more than ten different rates. The first does not have prepaid lines, while Llamaya makes two modalities available to customers: a contract and a prepaid one.
Pepephone
Currently the company offers three plans with cumulative data, where the biggest difference is the price, the amount of mobile data and the number of free minutes available. All are without permanence, and all are offered under the contract modality.
- 4 GB mobile: 4 GB of accumulative data and calls at 0 cents per minute for 6.90 euros per month.
- Mobile 7 GB: 7 GB of accumulative data and 101 minutes of free calls for 14.90 euros per month.

The company also offers the possibility of customizing rates to our liking, combining the amount of data and minutes that we want. The price will depend on the combination we choose.
Call now
The operator of Spanish origin offers multiple plans oriented to mobile lines, all differentiated by rates with a contract and rates with a prepaid card. It also offers calling plans and combined calling and data plans. All without permanence.
The first contract package offered by the company consists of a single option with unlimited calls that does not use any data plan.
- Unlimited calls: unlimited calls to national landlines and mobiles for 7.50 euros per month.
If we talk about the rates with data and calls, Llamaya offers two types of plans, one with 150 minutes of calls and the other with unlimited calls. The first consists of the following rates:
- 3 GB Plan Contract: 6 GB of non-accumulative data and 150 minutes of calls for 6 euros per month.
- 6 GB Plan Contract: 14 GB of non-accumulative data and 150 minutes of calls for 10 euros per month
While the second consists of the following:
- 6 GB Plan Unlimited Contract: 6 GB of non-accumulative data and unlimited calls for 10 euros per month.
- 14 GB Plan Unlimited Contract: 14 GB of non-cumulative data and unlimited calls for 15 euros per month.
- 24 GB Plan Unlimited Contract: 24 GB of non-accumulative data and unlimited calls for 20 euros per month.
We weigh prepaid rates. Again we find a division between rates with unlimited calls and rates with combined data and calls. The first option consists of the following fee:
- Unlimited Prepaid Calls: unlimited calls to national landlines and mobiles for 7.50 euros per month.
Regarding the rates with data and calls, Llamaya replicates the plans seen above, where the only difference is the number of minutes of calls available. The plan with 150 minutes of calls consists of the following rates:
- 3 GB Prepaid Plan: 3 GB of non-accumulative data and 150 minutes of calls for 5 euros every 28 days.
- 7 GB Prepaid Plan: 7 GB of non-accumulative data and 150 minutes of calls for 10 euros every 28 days.
While the second consists of the following:
- Unlimited 6 GB Prepaid Plan: 6 GB of non-accumulative data and unlimited calls for 10 euros every 28 days.
- Unlimited 14 GB Prepaid Plan: 14 GB of non-accumulative data and unlimited calls for 15 euros every 28 days.
- Unlimited 24 GB Prepaid Plan: 24 GB of non-accumulative data and unlimited calls for 20 euros every 28 days.
Fiber rates
The fiber and Internet tariff floor is very different from the tariffs oriented to mobile lines. In fact, Pepephone is the only operator that offers independent fiber packages. For its part, Llamaya obliges to hire at least one mobile line.
The plan offered by Pepephone is as follows:
- Only Fiber: 200 Mb of symmetrical speed without landline and without permanence for 34.60 euros per month.
Fiber and mobile rates
In the combined fiber and mobile packages Pepephone and Llamaya opt for simplification, unlike the mobile line plans. There are nine plans that we find in total, three offered by Pepephone and the rest offered by Llamaya.
Pepephone
The rates that Pepephone currently offers are very similar to each other, the only difference being the mobile rate associated with the Internet line. All have 200 Mb symmetric speed, and all lack permanence.
- 7 GB Fiber + Mobile: 200 Mb of symmetric speed and a mobile line with 7 GB of data and calls at 0 cents per minute for 39.90 euros per month.
- Fiber + Inimitable: 200 Mb of symmetric speed and a mobile line with 25 GB of data and unlimited calls for 48.90 euros per month.
- Fiber + 2 Inimitables: 200 Mb of symmetric speed and two mobile lines with 25 GB of data and unlimited calls for 58.90 euros per month.
Again we can configure all the proposed plans, and their price will vary depending on the lines and the number of minutes and mobile data associated with the Internet line.
Call now
The Spanish operator offers up to six combined plans where the main difference lies in speed: 50 MB for the cheapest rates and 300 for the most comprehensive rates. One fact: they all have an associated landline. Let's see their differences.

- 50 Mb Fiber Rate and 3 GB Mobile with unlimited calls : 50 Mb of speed, a landline with unlimited calls and a mobile line with 3 GB of data and unlimited calls for 34.90 euros per month. In promotion, about 41.90 euros for 6 months.
- Fiber Rate 50 Mb and Mobile 7 GB with unlimited calls : 50 Mb of speed, a landline with unlimited calls and a mobile line with 7 GB of data and unlimited calls for 43.90 euros per month. In promotion, about 36.90 euros for 6 months.
If we opt for the Internet line with 300 Mb, the rates available in Llamaya are the following:
