Honor has already presented its mobile all screen and with a hole in the panel. The Honor View 20 can now be purchased in Spain for 550 euros. A price very similar to the Huawei Mate 20, one of the flagships of the Chinese company. But… What differences are there between the two models? Why the Mate 20 is slightly more expensive. We compare both terminals below.
Design
Here we already begin to see the main differences. The Huawei Mate 20 has a very different design from the View 20. While the Honor mobile opts for a glossy finish with shapes and reflections, the Mate 20 focuses on gradient colors and slightly curved corners. Both terminals have a glass back, however there are differences in the shape of the camera and components.
Front of the Huawei Mate 20
On the one hand, the Huawei Mate 20 has a triple camera with a square shape and accompanied by an LED flash. Just below a fingerprint reader with a rounded shape, as well as the Huawei logo. The Mate 20 has a headphone jack on the bottom, USB Type-C, and the main speaker.
On the back of the Honor view 20 we see a double camera in a horizontal position and accompanied by an LED flash. Just below, and somewhat hidden, the fingerprint reader, as well as the Honor logo. The terminal also has rounded corners. The frames, which are also made of aluminum, are about 8 millimeters thick. The headphone jack is at the top, while the USB C and speaker are at the bottom.
Front of Honor View 20
The most striking of both terminals is the front. The Honor view 20 bets on an on-screen camera and borders with hardly any frames. It is undoubtedly a very positive point: we forget about the notch (which has turned out to be a passing fad) for a hole directly on the screen. It's at the top, next to the notification panel so it doesn't get in the way on the screen. On the other hand, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a large 6.53-inch panel. This one does include a notch directly on the screen, although it is of the 'drop type'. Much more subtle than other devices. The minimal frames are also taken to another level, especially the one at the bottom.

Screen: different size, same resolution
Here are differences and similarities. On the one hand, both terminals incorporate the same resolution: Full HD +, but with a different screen size, and therefore a different pixel density. The Honor View 20 has a 6.4-inch screen and a 19.25: 9 aspect ratio , while the Huawei Mate 20 has a 6.53-inch panel with a 17.5: 9 aspect ratio. Here, the Honor View 20 gains in pixel density. However, the Mate 20 has a larger size.
Performance and autonomy

If we talk about the number of lenses we can confirm a winner: Huawei Mate 20. The terminal of the Chinese company has a triple main camera with 12 megapixel resolution. It has a second 16 megapixel wide-angle lens that allows us to take panoramic photographs and a third sensor with 3X optical zoom. In the case of the Honor View 20, we find a camera of nothing more and nothing less than 48 megapixels. This lens will allow us to take pictures in greater detail. On the other hand, the second sensor is 3D, which is applied to depth of field and object scanning.

Both lenses make use of artificial intelligence applied to photography. They are able to recognize the scenes and adjust the best parameters.
Autonomy and Software
The two phones have 4,000 mAh, so there is no difference in the technical data. In day to day? We have not been able to test it, but both have to work the same. The Mate 20 has a little more screen, and it needs to be powered. However, the Honor View 20 has a bit more RAM. What they do have in common is EMUI 9.0. Price
We come to one of the most important points of the comparison: the price. In economic terms, the new Honor View 20 wins. The terminal is priced at 550 euros for its most basic version, but it reaches 700 euros for the version with 8 GB of RAM. In the case of the Huawei Mate 20, its price is 800 euros, although now it can be found for just under 600. These 50 euros of difference are in the wide-angle camera and its larger screen.
