The best thing, therefore, is to wait for the final version of Android 7 for the Nova family to be available. It is true that the system is taking a while to reach a large number of devices on the market. It is perhaps one of the versions that is being delayed the most. This is something that bothers a large majority of users, especially considering that Android 8 will be announced shortly. It is expected to make its debut at the Google I / O developer conference, which will take place on May 17th.
Huawei P9 Lite
Another of the Huawei teams that are waiting for their share of Nougat in Spain is the Huawei P9 Lite. The smallest of the P9 family, announced and put on sale in 2016, still cannot enjoy this version in our country due to a delay. Either way , you are expected to get it in no time. It is said that it could update between May and June. This means that there is a high probability that it will occur within a few weeks.
In fact, in Italy some units of the device received Android 7 in the form of OTA last April. You already know that along with the update the new version of the EMUI company interface (5.0) will also be available . It is a much more current and lighter version that presents a simpler and more minimalist appearance.
Given the high probability that Android 7 will end up reaching the P9 Lite this month, we recommend that you have your devices ready. Don't forget to make a backup of all data and connect it to a secure network with full battery before proceeding with the update.
As for the rest of the family, both the Huawei P9 and the Huawei P9 Plus managed to update some time ago. The first received Android 7 in January, the second shortly after. Like the Nova, this model is also aimed at the beta program, although the final version has not been seen at the moment. There is talk that it could make its appearance for the second quarter of 2017. Therefore, it is possible that during this month of May, June at the latest, we can give you the news of the arrival of Nougat for the Honor 6X.
Another device that is waiting patiently for you is the Honor 5c. This terminal is also attached to the beta program, so in your case Android 7 could also be available in a short time.
Things to keep in mind before upgrading
Taking into account that it is very possible that several Huawei terminals will be updated throughout this month, we encourage you to have it prepared for the moment. Thus, if you have any of the Nova models, a P9 Lite, an Honor 6X or Honor 5c, do not forget to perform a series of steps before Nougat makes an appearance.
