When we buy an Android mobile, we usually notice the specifications. We look for the ones that best suit our needs. But, you may have missed one, or you need your mobile to have a feature, and you don't know which one it has, right? Fortunately, the most recent devices have an option in settings that allow us to see the most outstanding specifications of our terminal, such as the processor, the screen size or even the resolution. Here are two ways to view the specifications of your device. One through settings and through a third-party app.
See the specifications of my mobile through Settings.
This option is not available on all Android phones on the market. In the version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow Google implemented it as standard. But in previous versions this was chosen by the manufacturers. If you have a Samsung, Huawei or LG smartphone, or a smartphone with Android Marshmallow and higher, you will be able to see the specifications without problem. To do this, we go to settings, about the phone and if we slide, we will see all the specifications, such as the processor model, RAM, storage, screen resolution etc. It is true that the ability to see the settings is very limited, it only shows us the most important information, so the second option is probably the best.
See the specifications of my mobile through Settings.
This would be the most suitable option, no device could have a problem. But be careful, the fact of seeing some specifications through a third-party application does not ensure that they are totally true. AnTuTu is possibly the best known application. Yes, it is an application to check the performance of our phone, but it gives us a very detailed list of the specifications once the test is finished. To see the specifications, we will have to let the application do the performance test, then we will go to the specifications section. Here we can see all the specifications in detail, including the current temperature of the device.
CPU-Z
Another perfect application to check the features and specifications of your device is CPU-Z. Basically it works like AnTuTu, but it does not need to do any tests. As soon as we install it and open it, all the information on the device will come out. From the frequency of each core, to the temperature of the battery. In this case, the interface is considerably cleaner than that of the other application. By sliding from right to left we can see all the sections. Processor, RAM, Android version, battery, temperatures and sensors. We must emphasize that it is a third-party application. We cannot be sure that the specifications, especially the temperature of each module, is correct, but it serves perfectly to get an idea.
Easy Mobile Guide
The last best application to check specifications is ”˜Easy Mobile Guide” ™. It is a fairly simple and intuitive application, we can find the specifications by selecting the brand and model of our product. And we will get a detailed diagram, with images, processor model, storage version etc. The truth is that the application is not bad at all. It works perfectly and shows the actual specifications, but without details of the temperature etc. The good thing about this is that we have many models, but there are some new ones, like the Huawei P10 that are not.
