WhatsApp allows you to share links, ideas or images across the States, a function that came to the service some time ago with a very good reception. The problem is that when it comes to viewing the statuses of any of our contacts, they may know that we have been keeping an eye on their publications. They only have to enter it to know who has been inquiring and at what time they have done it.
If you want to keep seeing Status of your contacts, but you don't want them to know, there is a trick that you can put into practice so that they don't see that you have entered. You just have to disable read receipts within the settings. That is, enter the WhatsApp Settings section, in Account, Privacy and deactivate the Reading Confirmations tab. Of course, keep in mind that this has consequences. By deactivating them, you will not be able to know if your friends and family have read your messages or have received them. You will be a little blind.
A good option to not run out of read receipts is to deactivate the tab when you want to keep an eye on the Status, and then activate them again once you have seen what you want. We recommend that you reactivate this tab when the Status has expired for your contact, which you already know is only active for 24 hours. If you do not do it this way, they will be able to know that you have been seeing the States.
Likewise, it is important that you keep in mind that with this trick no one will be able to know that you have been snooping in their States, but you will not have proof of who has looked at them in case you put any. Despite the fact that the WhatsApp States have been with us for some time, this function has not been very successful among the users of the service. However, it has been refined and updated over the months, with more privacy settings to control permissions.
