Viewing saved WiFi password on Android is currently not possible with serial options. Although in some layers of personalization we can share our connection through a QR code, in none of them we can see the password in all its splendor. Nor can we do it with external applications, unless we have root installed on our mobile. Luckily, there is a way to see the WiFi password without root on Android from the browser itself. We recently taught you to increase the speed and stability of WiFi on Android, and this time we will teach you how to do it easily and best of all, on any mobile phone and router.
Of course, to follow the guide that we will describe below, we must be connected to the WiFi network in question. In no case will it be useful to find out the password of networks to which we are not connected even if we have previously connected to them with our mobile or tablet.
See the WiFi password in Android without root with the router configuration
Accessing the router's settings is the only way possible today to see the WiFi password on Android. There are several ways to enter this, but the most common is by putting the following address in the browser: 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 (depending on the router and the company it may vary from wifilowi de Lowi, Alejandra de Movistar…).
Once we are in the configuration in question, we must enter our username and password. Generally it is usually 'admin' and 'admin', although it can vary as well as the form of access (the best thing to do this is to check the router sticker and look at the passwords and access users, which are not the same as the WiFi password). When we have accessed correctly we will have to look for a section with the name of Configuration, Settings or similar.
The last step will be to look for the Password or Password section, which should be within the Configuration section itself. Finally, when we get to that section, a field with our current password should be displayed. There are some routers that do not show the password by default. In this case, the only thing we can do is contact our telephone operator to find out the WiFi password or reset it.
In my case, the current password is not displayed, which is why I will have to go to Lowi's customer service.
We can also resort to the Windows network configuration if we have a computer. In this other article we show you how to do it in a simple way.
