With Android Marshmallow came the new power saving mode. It's about Doze, a feature that optimizes the battery of our smartphone considerably. It was one of the things we liked the most about the Android update. Now that it is among many users and we fully know its functions. We show you how to manage your entire battery, optimize it and get the most out of Doze.
Doze is the name given to the battery optimization feature. This is an option that makes the battery consume practically nothing when the device is on a smooth surface. In Android 7.0 Nougat it is much more advanced, because they added the Doze on the Go mode. It is basically like the normal Doze mode, but in this case it also optimizes when it detects that the terminal is off and in motion.

With this mode they also added a renewed configuration to be able to optimize the battery. It can be accessed through the device settings. Inside, it shows us different consumption data, in addition to the saving modes and the percentage. There we can know the time we have left until the battery runs out. In addition to the use of the battery has each component and application of the device.
If we go to the three points on the right side, we enter the mode battery optimization. There we can choose all the applications that we want to optimize to have a better battery performance.
Finally, we have the Battery Saver mode. We can activate it manually or automatically, when the device has 5 or 15% battery left. What this mode does is deactivate all animations, reduces RAM consumption and deactivates mobile data and WI-FI when the mobile is locked. This way, the battery lasts much longer, but it decreases performance.
