Being able to have the calendars of a single service synchronized on any mobile, tablet or computer, without having to resort to different applications, is a real convenience. And one of the options would be to use Google calendars or Google Calendar. But, to be able to use it on an iPhone or an iPad, the user must first perfectly configure their Google Calendar account, the tool offered by the Internet giant, on their devices.
For some time now, the Google tool supports the synchronization protocol known as CalDAV. A protocol that allows information from one service to be used in others. And this is one of the cases. Moreover, for the moment, iCloud - service Apple based on Internet- does not allow Google to sync calendars natively.
Well, once it is decided which calendars to synchronize on an iPad or iPhone, the user must go to the "Settings" icon on the desktop. Once inside, you must click with your finger on the option: " Mail, contacts, calendars ". At the moment, different options will appear to choose from, among which are the following: iCloud, Microsoft Exchange, Google Mail, Hotmail, etc… but none of them is what is needed. Therefore, at the end of the list the option is shown: “others”. It will be in that where the user must click.
Inside it there is a menu that is divided into three options: mail, contacts and calendar. Logically, the client should focus on: "Calendars". And then click on the menu " add CalDAV account ". Once inside, fill in the necessary data and that the tool itself requires, taking into account that, in the "server" section, it must be indicated: " www.google.com ".
Once all the fields have been entered and accepted by the system, it is now possible to check in the calendar application of the iPhone or iPad that, in the "calendars" sector, a new one will appear with the name that has been chosen. From then on, all the new events that are created in the Google calendar, either from a computer or from one of Apple's computers, will be automatically synchronized between them.
