One of the great advantages of iOS over Android is its interaction with gestures. With the presentation of the iPhone X, a terminal that we analyzed a few months ago today, these gestures were completely renewed by ones with better intuitiveness. Unfortunately, today Android does not have these in its stable version. That is why we are forced to resort to third-party applications to imitate those same gestures of the iPhone X on an Android mobile or tablet. Today we bring you one of the most useful for this purpose.
Before proceeding, it is necessary to clarify that if your device has a navigation bar or virtual buttons as standard, it is most likely that the application we will use will conflict with these.
Install iPhone X gestures on Android via X Home Bar
That the gestures of iOS are better than those of Android is something known to all. Android P has been the first version of the system to bring them, however, it has not yet been launched on the market in a stable way, so we are forced to install applications from the Google store, as is the case of the one that we come to to talk today.
For this we will use the X Home Bar application, which is at cost 0 in the Play Store. Once we have downloaded and installed it on our mobile or tablet, we will open it and provide the corresponding permissions for its correct operation. Now the next and last step will be to configure all those gestures to our liking through the bar that will appear at the bottom of the screen, in the purest iPhone X style with iOS 11.
If we want to configure those same gestures in the same way as on the Apple smartphone, we recommend that you configure the gestures as follows:
- Swipe up as home button
- Swipe right as recent apps button
- Swipe left as back button
When you have finished configuring them, you will only have to exit the application to execute the gestures on the screen. In the event that we want to modify other aspects of the iOS gesture bar such as size, width or color, we will only have to go back to the application and modify the respective options in the Appearance section.
