How to fix Samsung Galaxy S3 camera issues
Solution # 1. Clear the camera cache.
Sometimes the simplest solutions can become the most effective. The remedy of cleaning the camera cache can help us to solve problems with the camera application, and it also does not pose any danger to the images stored on the mobile. To apply this solution we must follow the following steps:
- We open the list of applications on our mobile and enter the Settings application. This application is represented by a gear icon.
- Once inside we must look for the option " Application Manager ".
- Within this option we must slide the screen several times to the left to reach the " All " tab. To slide the screen we press our finger on the right part of the screen of our mobile and move it to the left; we should see how we go from one tab to another, and so on until we reach the last tab of all.
- Now we have to search for the camera application. The most common is that the applications are arranged alphabetically, so that we simply have to slide between the applications until we reach the letter " C ". The application on which we must click has the name " Camera ".
- Once inside the camera application we must click on the " Force close " button, then on the " Clear cache " button and, finally, on the " Clear data " button.
- Finally, we must restart the phone (we hold down the power button on the screen for a few seconds and click on the " Restart " option).
Solution # 2. Clear the mobile cache.
The second solution is somewhat more complicated than the previous one and it is advisable to have a backup of our data before carrying it out. In this cases, the steps to follow are these:
- First we must turn off our mobile.
- With the terminal off, press the Volume Up, Home and Screen Lock buttons at the same time.
- After holding down these buttons for several seconds we should notice that the phone emits a small vibration, and at that moment we must release the Lock button on the screen while we continue to hold down the other two.
- A few seconds later, our mobile should turn on showing a screen that we have probably never seen. Within this screen we must access the option of " Clear cache " (or " Wipe cache " in English). To move between the options on this screen we have to use the volume buttons on our terminal.
- Once we have selected this option, press the lock button and follow the steps that will appear on the screen.
If none of these remedies help us to solve the problems with the camera, the only thing left to do is format our Samsung Galaxy S3. And if this last solution is not enough either, we will have no choice but to resort to the official Samsung guarantee (in the event that it is still valid in our terminal).
