One of the new functions provided by the latest Apple mobile icons (iOS5) was the possibility of not having to be aware of a synchronization with a computer in between. But with the new platform, Apple allowed users of its mobile terminals: iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, to receive updates, synchronize applications, music, etc… without the need for a cable.
Also, from now on, the updates - where the next one will be iOS 5.0.1 - will be received as a true update. That is, you should not download the entire system and have to install everything again. But, as it happens in Android or other systems, Apple will only release the part that differs from one version to another, or in other words, only the modifications. With which much less heavy updates will be achieved. But let's see how we will have to update from now on. Of course, keep in mind that you must be connected to a WiFi network at all times.
First of all, in the “settings” section of the main screen a notification should appear that there are new versions of the platform. Although this can be verified one hundred percent in the coming weeks when Apple releases the update that should correct some important bugs.
If not, within “ settings ” and in the “ general ” submenu there is another section where you can read: software update. If we click on it, the message that should appear is the following: " iOS 5. The software is updated ". In the event of new versions, simply click and wait for the modifications to be installed. But this is only in the case of operating system updates.
In the case of buying new applications or downloading songs, upon payment, all the computers owned by the same owner and sharing the same account will automatically see how they are updated instantly and will be available on the different computers that the user has. And, all this, without the need to connect them to a computer.
Finally, the photos that are uploaded to the computer will also be available, for example, on the iPhone 4S or iPad 2 and vice versa. This feature is called: Streaming Photos. Although the option found within "settings" and "photos" must be activated. Although be careful, this service works under iCloud, the free storage that Apple grants to its users. So it should take into account only the last pictures are saved for 30 days. After this period and, in order not to waste the free space of the service, they will be deleted.
