Google Photos is one of the most interesting options for storing and organizing your photos. But if you are new to using this Google service you may have some problems.
For example, how can you recover deleted photos? Take a look at the steps that we are going to discuss so that you can recover your photos.
This happens if you delete photos in Google Photos
If you have mistakenly deleted a photo in Google Photos, don't be scared that you can recover it.
Google Photos doesn't permanently delete photos the first time you select Delete. It just sends it to the Trash.
However, the photos will no longer appear in any section of the account, as Google warns:
For example, if you delete a photo from the timeline, it will also be deleted in the albums or in any configuration you have determined. And a detail that you should always keep in mind is that when you delete content in Google Photos it affects all the devices that you have synchronized.
How to recover your photos in Google Photos
If your photos are in the Trash, you have 60 days to reverse the action and restore it.
And the process is simple. You go to the trash, select the photos you want to restore and they will automatically return to your account.
If you had those photos organized into albums, then they will still keep that order. And they will appear in all sections of your account (such as the timeline) just as it happened before deleting them. You don't have to re-organize or edit them or any changes you've made before deleting it.
This dynamic can be applied both from the Google Photos mobile apps and in the web version. On the other hand, if more than 60 days have passed or you have selected "Empty the trash" then there is no possibility of recovering them.
You can check if you still have it available in the gallery of the device or if you have made a backup on the SD card. But if you have also removed them from the device, then it will be useful to look for a program or apps that will help you recover deleted items from your devices and try if you are lucky with some of the options to recover photos from Android.
