If you have a Samsung Galaxy mobile, you may have noticed that your keyboard vibrates in certain situations. Especially when writing quickly through WhatsApp or different messaging apps. Samsung activates the vibration on its official keyboard by default, making each time we press a key, the terminal responds with a slight vibration that can be annoying for some users. If you have keyboard vibration activated, and you want to deactivate it, follow these steps.
This trick is compatible for all Samsung mobiles that have One UI, the company's customization layer. Therefore, they apply to terminals such as the Samsung Galaxy A50, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A40, Galaxy A30, Samsung Galaxy M30s, Samsung Galaxy M20, Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ or earlier, Galaxy S9, Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S10, S10e and S10 +. If your device is not on the list, it is best to follow the steps indicated below, as it is likely that it will also solve the problem.
First you will need to go to the system settings. From a Samsung mobile you can access in different ways. The easiest is by looking for the 'Settings' app in the app drawer. You can also enter from the notification panel. Just scroll down and tap on the gear icon.
Turn off Samsung keyboard vibration
Being already in the settings, go to the option that says 'General administration'. Then click on 'Language and text input'. Once inside you will have to go to the option called 'On-screen keyboard'. Finally, click on the Samsung Keyboard, which is the one that arrives by default.
When you are already in the Samsung keyboard settings, you will see that there is an option called 'Swipe, touch and touch feedback'. Inside here you will have to go to the option that says 'Touch response'. You will see that the 'Vibration' option is activated. Uncheck the box and you can see that the keyboard no longer vibrates when typing. In these settings you can also disable the sound the keyboard makes when the volume mode is active.
