The vibration on the mobile keyboard can become a big headache. It may go unnoticed to type a simple Google search, but it can be overwhelming if you're on WhatsApp.
Are you at the premiere with your Xiaomi mobile and want to remove that annoying vibration? We tell you how to configure this option in a few steps.
How to remove keyboard vibration
If you are using your Pocophone or a Xiaomi Mi9 with Gboard then you can control the vibration directly from the Google keyboard.
The process is simple, you just do a Google search or open any app that allows you to open the keyboard and select the Settings wheel, which you will find next to the GIF and clipboard options.
Once in Settings you go to Preferences and scroll to "Keystroke", as you see in the image:
Once in that section you deactivate "Tactile response when pressing keys". Ready, your nightmare is over and you can use the keyboard of your mobile without problems. This solution applies to any Xiaomi mobile so it will also work if you have a Redmi Note 7 or a Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite.
And if you want a completely silent keyboard you can also configure the options "Sound on keypress" or "Volume on keypress" that you find in the same Settings section.
Remove vibration throughout the system
And an extra trick to get rid of any vibration when you use the different sections of the mobile is to go to Device Settings and search for "Sound and vibration"
There you will find all the options to configure the different tones and sounds. Among them, you can determine when the mobile should vibrate or if you want it to sound when you touch the screen. You can disable these options or customize their intensity.
And of course, all these settings can be changed as many times as you want. They are small details that you can customize to improve the experience when using a Xiaomi device.
