If you are one of those distracted people who forget where they leave the keys, it has surely happened to you that you have also forgotten the unlock pattern of the mobile. Or you've wanted to get creative with unlocking so that no one gets caught, and then you've wasted all your attempts because you can't remember the pattern.
The good news is that this situation has an easy solution that will prevent you from losing data and all content on your mobile. And the bad news is that it only works if you have a Samsung account.
We show you how to perform this process, and use your Google and Samsung account to unlock your mobile.
How to remove the unlock pattern without losing data
If the situation you see in the image has been repeated so many times that you have locked your mobile, you have several alternatives. Before, we had the possibility of unlocking the mobile using a Google account directly from the mobile screen, but the new versions of Android no longer allow this process.
So you can try programs that run from the PC to unlock the phone or return it to the factory. And yes, you will lose your data. Or you can use your Samsung and Google account to remotely remove the unlock pattern. And here comes the part of the bad news: to use this option, your phone must have a registered Samsung account.
It is that account that Samsung mobiles give the option to create when we first start the device, and that gives a series of benefits, for example, performing actions on the device remotely. If you meet this requirement, you can continue with the steps detailed below. And of course, with the mobile on and connected to the internet.
Unlock the mobile remotely
The first step is to go to Samsung's Find My Mobile page to log in with your account. I know, if you don't remember the unlock pattern, the less you will remember the password of your Samsung account. But don't worry, there is another solution.
You may have associated your Google account with Samsung's when setting up your mobile, so you can log in this way. Or use it to reset your Samsung password.
As you can see in the image, there are the two options on the page: direct Samsung account or log in with the associated Google account. Once you log in, you will see that it takes a few seconds for the Samsung online application to detect your mobile, and then it will show you a map with a series of options, including "Unlock" the mobile.
Another window will open for you to confirm that you want to unlock, and then you will have to enter the password for your Samsung account. If you chose to access from your Google account it is the same. Do not put the password of your Google account, but that of Samsung
Samsung will notify you that it is performing the pattern unlocking process, and in a few seconds you will be able to verify that your mobile is unlocked. The Samsung tool will turn on the mobile screen, and you will see that the unlock pattern no longer exists and you will have the main screen at your disposal.
It is a simple process, which you can do from your PC or from another mobile device. And this method is used to unlock your mobile with any of the blocking methods that you configure on the mobile, be it pattern, PIN, password or any of the biometric data options.
