If you have decided to change from an iPhone or iPad to an Android mobile or tablet, transferring the stored contacts will be very easy with the following steps. The only thing that will be needed is to have the iCloud service activated and to have, of course, an open Google account. From there, you only need to follow the following indications.
The first thing to do is synchronize the contacts section of the iPhone or iPad with the iCloud online service account. Once the process has finished, the user must go to a computer and open the Internet browser. Once inside, you will have to enter the iCloud service (www.icloud.com) and enter the validation data: username and password.
Next, you must enter the icon that refers to «Contacts» and you can see that in the lower left corner there is a small icon in the shape of a wheel that refers to the «Actions menu». If pressed, a pop-up window will appear where you can choose different options. The one that will be of interest in this case is the one that says "Select all" to be able to mark all the contacts. If you do not want to export all the entries, they must be marked one by one. Subsequently, click on the actions icon located in the lower left corner and click on the option «Export vCard…».
By choosing this option, a file with a VCF extension will be automatically downloaded to your computer, containing the entire list of contacts stored on the iPhone or iPad and that have been synchronized with the iCloud service. Next, you will have to go to Google's email service, GMail. For this, it is necessary to have an operational Internet giant account.
Once inside, you can see that between the Google logo and the "Write" button appears the name of the service, GMail. If you click on the name, you will see a tab where you can choose between three sections: mail, contacts and tasks. Obviously, the option that interests is the second. By clicking on it, the user will be redirected to the complete list of contacts that they have created and it will be the place where they want to import all the contacts that were previously stored on one of Apple's computers.
Among the different options that appear in the lower menu, you only have to choose the one that says "Import contacts. " It will be there where the user must select the file that was previously downloaded from the iCloud service. Once the process is finished, all the contacts will be visible. And the only thing that will remain is to synchronize the Google account from which the contacts have been exported on the smartphone . And to know if this is active, the customer must go to the "Settings" menu and enter the "Google Accounts" section. Click on the account you want to see "" this is in the case of having several "" and you can check if the "Synchronize contacts" box is checked.
