The LG G3 from the South Korean company LG is one of the many mobiles to incorporate three virtual buttons directly inside the screen. These buttons correspond to the Android operating system, and allow you to perform different quick actions such as going back or opening the additional settings tab. The problem with these virtual buttons is that, at times, they can be annoying when opening applications that require the entire screen (see a game, for example).
In this article we are going to explain step by step how to hide the buttons on the screen on the LG G3 without installing any external application. We will simply have to carry out a short and simple configuration process that requires us to access the Settings application.
How to hide the on-screen buttons on the LG G3
- First of all we must go to the Settings application. For this we have several methods, although the simplest is to access the list of applications available from the main screen. In this list we simply have to look for an application with the icon of a gear and with the name of " Settings ".
- We enter the application and, within the " Screen " tab, click on the option " Home touch buttons ".
- By clicking on this option a configuration window will be displayed in which we must click on the option " Hide Start buttons ".
- After clicking on this option, another configuration window will open in which we will have the possibility to choose exactly the applications in which we want the buttons on the screen not to be shown. It is a very useful configuration when we want to enjoy an application without the buttons on the screen being a nuisance, and mainly we are facing an option that will probably be very helpful to enjoy the games of the Android operating systemfull screen. To choose the applications in which we do not want the virtual buttons to be shown, we simply have to click on the respective name of each application, so that a small square will be activated on one side of the application name, confirming that we have carried out the process correctly.
The advantage of this option is that we can configure the buttons on the screen in such a way that they will only appear in applications and on screens where they are not a nuisance. In fact, we are facing a configuration option that manufacturers in the mobile phone market should have introduced much earlier, since we have been receiving the arrival of mobile phones with buttons directly on the screen for years. And although these virtual buttons are more advantageous because they adapt to the position in which we are holding the terminal at all times, they also have their small disadvantages in the daily use of the mobile.
