To the mess: how to download and install MIUI 11 Global stable on Xiaomi
There are several ways to force the installation of MIUI 11 on Xiaomi, although the simplest is undoubtedly to resort to Downmi, an application that downloads the update packages directly to the memory of our mobile.
Once we have installed the application, we will open it and select our mobile phone model. In ROM type we will choose Global stable, and in ROM version we will select the corresponding package with MIUI 11. If the MIUI 11 package does not appear among the available packages, it is very likely that it is not yet available for our mobile phone.
Finally we will click on Download ROM and the ROM will begin to download to our phone automatically; specifically within the downloaded_rom folder. Now we just have to go to the section of My device within the MIUI settings. In the option System update we will click on the three points in the upper right corner and finally on Select update package.
Isn't the Select update package option displayed? Press seven times on the 10 of MIUI 10 and it will automatically appear in the context menu. The last step is as simple as going to the downloaded_rom folder and selecting the package that we just downloaded.
The phone will automatically start updating, a process that will take a few minutes, depending on the weight of the ROM.
