Before proceeding with the download and installation of the iOS 13 beta 2, we advise you to make a backup of all the data and files on your device. Logically, as it is a trial version, there can always be errors and problems, or even something happen during the installation process.
- Go to the Settings section and click on your name.
- Now click on iCloud.
- Go to the bottom and select iCloud Backup.
- Click on "Back up now." This is a process that can take several minutes. Everything will depend on the amount of data you save on your computer.
Once you have the backup safe, you can now proceed to download this second beta of iOS 13. We explain the steps.
- Open Safari or the browser you normally use on your iPhone or iPad.
- Find Apple's public beta page. You can access it directly by clicking here.
- Click on "Sign Up" and register using your Apple ID information.
- Next, you will see at the top of the page an option called “Enroll Your Devices”. Click on it.
- Now Scroll to step 2 and click on "Donwload profile" to start downloading the profile.
- Go to the Settings of your terminal and then to General, Profile to install it.
- To complete the process, you will see how your device restarts. When it turns on again, go into Settings, General, Software update. This second beta of iOS 13 will have to appear for its corresponding installation via OTA (over the air).
As with all system installations, always do it while connected to a stable and secure WiFi network. Do not update on public and open WiFis or with your own data connection. In the same way, make sure that your device is with more than half the battery. If not, wait to load it to install beta 2 of iOS 13.
Main novelties of the beta 2 of iOS 13
Although Apple does not publish an official list with the changes made, only in the final versions, the errors found by the developers help the company to polish the system. For now, these are the improvements that have been verified in this second version in tests of iOS 13.
- The camera application has a new mode: High Key Light Mono, which allows you to adjust the intensity of the light.
- tvOS 13 already has support for picture-in-picture mode.
- The connection via SMB already works in Files
- We found new stickers of memojis as a sign of victory, with crossed fingers, etc.
- Improvements in the Calendar interface.
The final version of iOS 13 is expected to arrive next fall, we imagine that just when the company launches its new iPhone models for this 2019.
