If you have a terminal of the Oppo brand, or Vivo or, without going any further, one of the many that complete the Xiaomi catalog, you will have noticed that, when looking for the Netflix application in the Play Store, you just can't find it. It does not appear anywhere, as we show you in the following screenshot, made on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
So what happens? Can't we install and watch Netflix movies and series on our mobile? No, far from it. The case that these brands cannot include the Netflix application inside them is because they lack Google certification. In this case, we will have to download the application from a reliable external application repository, such as APK Mirror. In APK Mirror we can download the necessary file to install Netflix on our device and make it work normally as usual.
Get the Netflix application for your Xiaomi mobile
Next, on this page, we are going to search for 'Netflix' in the search engine and be careful not to choose the first option as it is another Netflix application, corresponding to Android TV. We go to the first version that we find of the Netflix application and click on the download arrow. Subsequently, a new screen will appear in which we will scroll down until the 'download' section appears, which contains the downloadable file.
This will start the download on your computer, or on your mobile if you have been following this tutorial by this means. If you want to transfer the.apk file to your phone, you just have to connect it to your computer using a microUSB cable and choose, in the notification bar, 'transfer files'. If you don't do this, your phone will only charge.
Then, in the 'download' folder and files application , we are going to locate and install the Netflix application that we have just downloaded, just as we would with any other application. As soon as it is finished installing, open it and connect with your username and password and voila, you will be able to Netflix as in the rest of the mobile phones on the market.
