When it opens the public beta, Samsung will include five other countries: Germany, China, India, Poland and the United Kingdom. However, there is no set schedule yet, so it may not take long for the Android 11 beta to reach our territory.
Before installing, please note these details
While installing the beta allows us to know all the new features of Android 10, and try them before anyone else, it is not an option to use on a main mobile.
Samsung recommends that before installing beta software you make a backup using Smart Switch, as you may lose data. Note that it is a beta, so as such it has bugs and instability issues.
Before testing it, double-check that your device is ready to install the beta, following the instructions from the Samsung team. That way, you will avoid having problems in the installation process.
How to download and install the Android 11 beta on Samsung
If you want to try all the news that a new software presents from your Samsung mobile, you must start by registering for the Galaxy Beta Program. To do this, you just have to download the Samsung Members app, log in with your Samsung account, and follow a few steps.
When you have a beta available for your Samsung device, a blue message (with a "Sign up for beta Program…" style notice) will appear at the top. Just tap it to see the full announcement and the option to sign up for the Android 11 beta.
Depending on the dynamics that Samsung uses this time, you may be in the trial program with a simple tap or need to fill out a form and wait for approval. And then, it only remains to download the beta from Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.
How to get out of the Android 11 beta on Samsung
If you no longer want to continue with the beta of One UI 3.0 based on Android 11 on your Galaxy, you have to follow these steps:
- Request to be removed from the beta program from the Samsung Members app from Settings >> Beta program status… >> Withdraw
- And to remove the beta software from your mobile you will have to use Smart Switch to return to the previous version.
It is not a complicated process, but you will have to be patient and follow all the instructions in the Samsung app.
