The smartphones of the South Korean manufacturer Samsung are characterized by their ease when it comes to taking screenshots in a matter of a few seconds. In the case of the Samsung Galaxy S5, the new flagship of this company, it could not be less. Since screen captures can be very useful when it comes to immortalizing what we are seeing on the screen of our mobile, in this tutorial we will focus on fully explaining the two methods that exist to capture the screen on this smartphone.
Both methods are quite popular as they are among the most popular ways to take a screenshot on Android. Even so, it is always good to know the exact methods of each mobile to know directly what steps we have to execute to capture the screen of our terminal.
How to take a screenshot on the Samsung Galaxy S5 - Method 1
- First we have to locate the content that we want to capture on the screen. We can capture the main screen of the mobile, a web page in the browser, a scene from a movie and any other type of content that we can think of.
- Then we must simultaneously press the power button and the start button of the Samsung Galaxy S5. It is very important that we press both buttons at the same time, since on the contrary the method will not work.
- If we have followed the previous step correctly, we should see how the screen lights up with a white box that confirms that the capture has been saved successfully on the mobile.
How to take a screenshot on the Samsung Galaxy S5 - Method 2
- This second method is the most popular within the Android operating system. It consists of sliding the palm of the inclined hand on the screen from right to left. That is, we must stretch our hand, turn it so that the palm is facing left and, finally, we must slide it from the right to the left of the screen.
- If we have correctly executed this simple step, the screen will light up with a white box that will confirm that the capture has been made correctly.
In the event that the second method does not work for us, we will simply have to go to the Settings application to enter the Movement option and, once inside, enter the Movements and gestures section. In this section we can activate the option to take screenshots with the palm of the hand.
All screenshots are stored inside a folder called " Screenshots ". We can find this folder within the Gallery application , and next to the photographs that we have taken with the mobile camera we will see that a folder appears in which all the screenshots are stored. These images are usually large in size, so we also have the possibility of exporting them to the computer to view them with the maximum resolution.
