The phones of the iPhone range of the US manufacturer Apple, like the phones with Android operating system, incorporate an option that allows us to take screenshots. On both iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, the method of taking a screenshot is very simple. In this tutorial we show you how to take screenshots on these smartphones and, also, how to find later the screenshots that are saved on the mobile.
Recall that the screen capture is a snapshot that saves all the content that we are seeing on the screen at the time of capturing as an image. That is, if for example we want to share with a friend the message that we have received on a social network, with the screenshot we can show them what we are seeing on our own mobile.
How to take a screenshot on iPhone
- The first step of this tutorial is simple and obvious: we must have the content that we want to immortalize through a screenshot open on our iPhone. It can be any type of content: from a game to a web page, through any application available in the App Store.
- Once we have the content ready, with the screen on, press simultaneously on the Start button and on the Lock button for several seconds. It is essential that we press both buttons at the same time. If we have carried out this step correctly, we will see that the screen lights up and - in the event that we have the sound activated - the mobile will emit the same sound as the one we hear when taking a picture with the camera.
And with this simple procedure we already have the screenshot made. Now, where is the catch stored ? The screenshot to the same as the pictures we took with the camera, is stored in the spool of the iPhone (ie, in the gallery of images from the camera). To access the capture we simply have to click on the " Photos " application that appears in the list of programs on our mobile.
Once we find the screenshot we just made, we will probably have another question… how to share the screenshot with another person? The procedure is the next:
- We open the screenshot that we have made on the mobile.
- We look at the bottom left of the screen, and we should see an icon with the drawing of a rectangle with an arrow pointing up. Click on this icon.
- Now the menu will open that allows us to share the screenshot through different means: email, social networks, iCloud, etc.
