Do you have a Huawei Mate 30 Pro and you don't know how to take a screenshot? This new mobile from the Chinese company does not have a physical volume button, since it is controlled through gestures on its double curved screen. This causes one of the most useful functions on a mobile to be lost; screenshots. Fortunately, there are other ways to get a screenshot on this high-end. We explain the different methods.
Screenshot via shortcut
The fastest way to take a screenshot on the Mate 30 Pro is through the new shortcut. This is located in the notification panel. It's an icon with a scissors and a screen, and it's called 'Capture'. Go to the screen where you want to make the Screenshot, slide the panel and click on the icon. The notification bar will automatically go up and the capture will take place. Afterwards, the thumbnail image will appear and we can share it, edit it or simply save it in the gallery.
Screenshot with gestures
Another new method to take a screenshot on your Huawei mobile: through the new gestures of the Mate 30 Pro. This terminal has a new front camera that allows us to perform gestures with our palm and without touching the screen. We can scroll and of course, screenshots with a simple gesture. This option is disabled by default, so we will have to activate it in the system settings. To do this, we go to Settings> Accessibility features> Shortcuts and gestures> Gestures in the air. Here we find two options. The first is the movement in the air. That is, scroll without touching the screen. The second is the option that interests us, that of making a catch by grip. My advice is that you only activate the capture option, since it is the one that you will use the most. If you activate both, the terminal will have a hard time recognizing which gesture you are making with your hand, and instead of scrolling the screen it will take a screenshot.
To take a screenshot, open the palm of your hand at a distance of about 20 centimeters from the terminal. A blue icon should appear in the upper area. Then make a quick fist. You will see how it makes a sound and the thumbnail appears.
Knuckle screenshot
The classic way of capturing on Huawei phones: with your knuckles. An option that is enabled by default. We just have to double tap with the knuckles. If we want to take a shaped capture, just slide your knuckle across the screen.
Full screen capture
EMUI 10 allows us to take a full screen capture. That is, we can include the entire page, not just what we see on the panel. For this you can use any of the three methods that I mentioned above. When you see the thumbnail at the bottom, drag it down. You will see how the screen automatically goes down. When you want to finish, press on the screen and the capture will have been created.
