Screenshots can be taken in all mobile operating systems. And in the new Nokia Lumia with Windows Phone 8, it is no exception. It is a fairly easy function to do. And, later they can be automatically saved in the internal memory of the smartphone . Or, failing that, on the Internet-based service called SkyDrive.
It is likely that you want to share a screenshot of the terminal, either to teach how to do something, to be able to capture an error. Or just to show friends how the home screen is personalized, for example. To achieve this in a Nokia Lumia with Windows Phone 8, the user will only have to choose the moment they want to capture and do the following: press the power button and the start button at the same time, which is usually found at the bottom of the screen.; the one with the Windows symbol.
Once this step has been carried out, you can see how an effect is shown as if it were a camera. Then, in order to see the result, by default, all the captured images are saved in the photo hub. And of course, if the opposite is not checked, everything will be stored in the internal memory of the Nokia Lumia.
However, if what you want is to have the memory free of load, it should be remembered that Microsoft also makes the SkyDrive service available to its customers, an online storage service that offers seven GigaBytes of space free of charge. Although if you need more quantity, you can also choose to contract a Premium service, in which there are three more options: 20 GB for eight euros per year, 50 GB for 19 euros per year or 100 GB for 37 euros per year. Furthermore, the advantage of this option is that all images can be accessed from any computer with an Internet connection. What's more, there are applications for different platforms.
To get all the captures to be stored directly in SkyDrive, you will have to go to the list of applications and click on photos. Once inside, you will have to click on the "More" option, which is represented by an ellipsis. And then give the option "Settings". Once inside, you will see a section that indicates "automatic loading" and in it you must select the SkyDrive option.
Now, the loading of images can be of two types: Good quality or Better quality. The first one will upload the images in low resolution, while the other will upload the images to the online storage service in high resolution. But beware, it is also indicated that if the first option is chosen, the Nokia Lumia will upload the screenshots, indistinctly, through a 3G connection or through WiFi points. While if the user opts for the second option, in order not to overspend the data rate, the images will only be uploaded through WiFi points.
