The Samsung Galaxy S4 is a smartphone from the South Korean company Samsung that has been on the market for almost a year. Despite this, there are still users who are unaware that they have at their disposal different ways of taking a screenshot on their mobile. The screenshot is neither more nor less than an image that is made from what we are seeing on our mobile. That is, if -for example- we are viewing a web page in the browser, when taking the screenshot, an image with the same content will automatically be saved on our phone.
Since not everyone knows the different ways that exist to take a screenshot on the Samsung Galaxy S4, here are the two ways to take a snapshot of the content of the screen in a matter of a few seconds.
How to take a screenshot on the Samsung Galaxy S4 - Method 1
- First we go to the screen we want to immortalize through a screenshot. It can be any type of screen (the main screen of the phone, an application, a game, etc.).
- Once we are seeing the content that we want to save in the screenshot, we simply press the " Lock " and " Start " buttons on our mobile at the same time for a few seconds. It is essential to press these two buttons simultaneously, so it is likely that we will need a few attempts to get the screenshot.
- If everything has gone well, the screen should light up with a white border that confirms that the capture has been made correctly and that it has been saved in the " Gallery" folder of our phone.
How to take a screenshot on Samsung Galaxy S4 - Method 2
- This second method is relatively simpler to carry out than the previous one. All we have to do is open the screen that we want to save in a capture and we simply have to slide the palm of the extended hand perpendicularly on the screen, from right to left. In other words, we rest our extended hand on the right side of the mobile and slide it gently to the left.
- If we have carried out this step correctly, we should receive confirmation that the capture was successful by the appearance of white borders around the screen.
- In the event that this second method does not work correctly, it is most likely that we have the option of capturing the screen using gestures disabled. To activate this option we simply have to go to " Settings ", " My device ", " Movement " (it is an activatable option that we can press to enter the configuration screen) and we must activate the option " Move palm to capture ".
