At the moment, pure Android does not allow to natively record the terminal screen. This is not the case with iOS. One of the latest updates to the system began to offer this option, something that up to now was only possible using external applications. Some of you may wonder why it may be useful to record the device screen. For example, if you dedicate yourself to uploading tutorials to YouTube of applications or services, you will no longer need to use another device or an external camcorder.
Also, imagine that you have a problem on the iPhone and you want to show someone the error. With a few steps you can show him a video of what is going on on your computer screen so that this person can try to help you. You can also show how good you are playing a game, recording it directly with your mobile to upload it later to social networks. Whatever the intention you have, below we explain how to record the screen of your iPhone in a simple way.
To record the screen of your iPhone (with iOS 11 / iOS 12) the first thing you have to do is enter the settings section, scroll down a bit and go to the Control Center section. Next, click on Customize controls. Here you will find an extensive list. If you look at the "More controls" list you will see the option "Screen recording". Select the + icon to include it in the custom list.
Now you have the icon to record the iPhone screen in the Control Center of your device, so the next step is to get down to work and record the screen. Therefore, go to the application or tool that you want to record. Next, access the Control Center. On iPhones without a home button, you can enter by sliding your finger from the upper right corner. On an iPhone 8 or earlier, swipe up from the bottom.
Once inside the Control Center, press the new icon to record the screen. You will identify it by a point within a circle. In iOS 12 you will have only 3 seconds to swipe up the Control Center and start recording. You will know that the iPhone screen is recording because you will see a red circle at the top indicating it. In iOS 11 the top bar will be shown in red. When you want to end the recording you just have to click on that red circle.
All the recordings you make of your iphone screen will be automatically saved in the Camera app and will be available in the Photos app. Once there, you can edit and share them with whoever you want.
