Snapchat is gaining more and more followers. If until recently this social network was based on a mainly teenage audience, in the last year millions of users of all ages have started to use it regularly. We do not know if it is because of its transience or because it offers something different from what we were used to, but what is clear is that Snapchat hooks, a lot. It is possible that the integrated skins that are also updated daily, have to do with the success of the application.
But leaving talk of advantages, if there is a small drawback is that to record Snaps video we have to keep constantly pressed the button to record. This means that practically all the snaps we see are in “selfie” mode. And yes, we say "practically all" because there are two options to record on Snapchat without using your hands. One, the most obvious, is for someone to record us, but if we want to record ourselves without having to press the happy button there is a trick, only for iPhone at the moment, since the feature that allows us to do so is only found in iOS. What we are going to do is simply create with AssistiveTouch a tactile pattern that simulates that we are pressing the record button on Snapchat.
And how do we record without hands?
The steps to follow to activate this pattern and run it are as follows: open Settings> General> Accessibility. We look for the option located below called Interaction, and here we will find the AssistiveTouch option . Click on Create new gesture and once here we will create the pattern. We have to keep the screen pressed for - it does not matter at what point - for 15 seconds and thus we simulate that we are touching the Snapchat button. Now click on Save and name our gesture with something easy to remember as Snapchat. Now we return to the Accessibility menu and so that this option is not activated all the time, we will click on Quick function that is at the bottom. Among all the options we will choose AssistiveTouch so that just by pressing the Home button three times we can activate and deactivate the function.
Now we are going to put it into practice. We open Snapchat and get ready as if we were going to record a snap but we put the phone somewhere while we focused. We press the Home button three times and the AssistiveTouch will appear, a white circle on which we press again. We choose the Customize option and we will touch on the name that we have given to our gesture - we named it Snapchat. Now we appear on the screen a small circle we have only to drag up Snapchat button to start recording, and voila, you can now record on Snapchat without having your hands full.
