The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus are two of the most powerful terminals on the market. Eight-core Exynos processor, up to 12 GB of RAM and great autonomy. However, even the most powerful mobiles get hung up on occasion. Maybe because some application does not work correctly, a failed installation or some security problem. Do you need to force the shutdown of your mobile? We show you how you can do it.
There are different ways to turn off the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 / Note 10+. If what you want is to force a shutdown, that is, to quickly turn off the terminal due to a crash or failure, follow these steps. First, press and hold the volume button - and the power button for a few seconds. If the screen responds, the shutdown and restart menu will appear. Keep pressing for about 5 seconds, until the screen is black and you feel a vibration. The terminal has now been completely turned off and will turn on again for normal operation.
There are other ways to turn off a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+. The company has decided to remove the button dedicated to Bixby, and now it is the same lock button that summons Samsung's assistant. The easiest way to turn off a Note 10 is to hold the volume button - and the power button for a few seconds. You will see the shutdown and restart options appear. Select the one you want. Another option is to turn it off from the notification panel. If you unfold it, you will see a power button appear next to the settings button. Click on to enter the shutdown options. The third and final way is by asking Bixby. Click on the assistant's booty and say 'Turn off the phone'. It will ask for a confirmation and turn off the terminal.
How to customize the power button
If you prefer, you can also change the power button settings and make it pay instead of Bixby showing up, just by holding the button down. To do this, press the Volume keys - and off until you see the shutdown menu. Then, click on the option that says 'Function button settings'. In the option 'Press and hold' select 'Menu Off'. Now, if you hold down the shutdown button, the options to restart or disconnect the terminal will appear.
