When you send a photo to a friend through a messaging application such as WhatsApp or Telegram, you should know that, no matter how good your camera is, they will never see the image as you really took it. And it is that in the process of sending the photo, the application considerably reduces the quality of the same so that they are sent faster, since the higher quality a photo has, the greater its size. However, there is a very simple way to send a photo through WhatsApp and Telegram without losing quality. How to do it? It's very simple.
How to send photos without losing quality in WhatsApp
To send our photographs without losing quality, we will send them not as photographs but as a file. To do this, click on the clip icon that you find in the writing bar. Now we have to choose the 'Document' icon and click on 'Find other documents'. Now if you look at the three bar side menuand you deploy it, you must select the 'Images' folder. In the gallery, find the image you want to share and do it as usual. In the delivery of the photograph, instead of seeing its thumbnail, you will see the classic document icon, with the name of the photograph and its extension.jpg. The recipient will only have to click on the bar to open the photo with their gallery application and voila, they will be viewing it with the same quality as you took it.

Now we are going to explain to you how to do the same but from the other great instant messaging application, Telegram. To do this, we are going to do exactly the same as in the case of WhatsApp, send the photograph as if it were a file or document. Click on the clip in the writing bar in the chat window and click on the 'file' iconwhich is represented as if it were a folio. Now we are going to go to the 'Gallery' section to, as indicated, 'send photos without compression'. On the screen that you will see below, you will have the latest photos you have taken or received. If you want to locate others, click on the three-striped menu, selecting the option 'Images'. Choose the photograph you want to send, click on it, and voila, the recipient will have received the photograph as it was done. You just have to open it from the application itself.
Remember that sending a photo as it was taken can increase data consumption since a raw image weighs much more. If you have a not very high data rate, we advise you to always do this method under a WiFi connection. In what situations are we going to want a real-size, raw photograph? Well, for example, if we want to print it on photographic paper or to show our friend the good photos that our phone takes. I always advise sending the photos without losing quality since the difference in weight is not usually too great unless, of course, we send the photos in RAW format and without post-processing of any kind.
