The WhatsApp instant messaging application in its version for the iOS operating system (that is, for the terminals of the American manufacturer Apple) incorporates an option that allows us to share photos, videos and even our location with any of our contacts. The problem is that this application does not incorporate any option that could allow us to share MP3 files, and therefore we must know the alternative method that exists to share these files through WhatsApp.
In this tutorial we thoroughly explain how to send MP3 files through WhatsApp on a smartphone belonging to the iPhone range. To start with the tutorial we will need an Internet connection on our mobile (preferably a WiFi connection) and a cloud storage application (see for example OneDrive, which is available for free download under this link: https: / /itunes.apple.com/es/app/onedrive-anteriormente- known/id477537958?mt=8).
How to send MP3 files through WhatsApp on an iPhone
- Once we have installed the cloud storage application on our iPhone (in this case, suppose we have installed OneDrive), the first thing we must do is upload the MP3 file that we want to share through WhatsApp to this application.
- To upload a file to OneDrive, we must create an account (or identify ourselves with an account already created) and follow the steps that will be indicated on the screen when installing the application for the first time.
- With the file already uploaded, we must enter the cloud storage application again to find the same file that we just uploaded to the application. Once we have located it, we simply click on the name of the file.
- Now the terminal should show us a screen with different options related to the file that we have opened. Among these options we should see a rectangle icon with an arrow pointing out at the bottom right of the screen. Click on this icon.
- Among the different options that will be displayed when clicking on this icon, one will appear with the name of " Open in another application ". Click on this option.
- Next we must choose the WhatsApp application (under the name of " Open in WhatsApp ") among all the applications that will be shown on the screen.
- Clicking on this option should open the WhatsApp application. We only have to choose the contact to whom we want to send the MP3 file and we will be able to send said file to the person we want. Once the contact (or even a group) has been chosen, we must click on their name and confirm the shipment by choosing the " Yes " option in the window that will appear asking us to confirm the action.
Although it is a process that requires some patience, this is the most comfortable way to send MP3 files through WhatsApp on an iPhone.
