How to remove Xiaomi promoted news
Xiaomi applies a system similar to Google, displaying a news section on the mobile. Although they take into account the user's location, it shows news from different international media taken by Microsoft News.
You will see this news in the App Vault and on the main page of the Xiaomi browser. How can you remove them? Let's start with the Application Vault, that special section that you will see by scrolling the screen to the right. The idea of this section is that the user can quickly access the functions of the apps they use frequently. And it also has recommendations for games, videos and a dedicated news section.
All this content is customized from the Vault settings. So you have to select the gear wheel to open Settings and then select "Recommended" to choose the cards (videos, recommended, events, etc) that will be displayed in the Vault.
In this case, you just have to delete the News card so that it no longer appears on the main screen. Once you apply these settings, you will see that you have a free application vault from the news feed. And you can apply the same dynamics to eliminate any content that does not interest you in this section.
And if you want to remove the news from the main page of the Xiaomi browser, you will have to perform a similar action. Just touch the "+" on the main web browser screen to go to "Manage channels"

- You can deactivate the "New content" option and all channels will be removed from the main page, including Microsoft News
- Or you can remove the Microsoft News channel so that the news feed does not appear
