Having the email on your mobile phone is the best, if you usually work with it. Sometimes we need to have an account synced. Or several. It all depends on whether we use different accounts for personal things and work. This will not prevent you from having them all in the same application.
At other times, we need to stop syncing any of these accounts. Either because we don't want to carry that email on our mobile or because we are going to stop using that specific address. Whatever you need, here is how to create and delete Gmail accounts on your mobile.
Follow the instructions step by step. Too easy. You will see how you do not make any trouble.
Steps to create a Gmail account on mobile
If you need to add or create a Gmail account on your mobile, you will not have it complicated. It will only take a few seconds. We recommend that you follow these steps:
1. Unlock your Android phone and open the Gmail application. Then tap on the hamburger menu. It's in the upper left section. And choose Add account.
2. To add an account, Google will ask you to enter your Gmail account details. You will have to include the address in question and then the password. Hit OK and move on.
3. After verifying the data, Google will automatically add the address. If you need to create a new account, you can do it right here. Simply click on the option Or create a new account. It is the alternative that Gmail offers you from here. And without a doubt, it is very practical.
If you have finished, the account will appear immediately in this same space. It will be next to any other address that you already have added in the Gmail application.
Steps to delete a Gmail account on mobile
If for whatever reason you want to delete a Gmail account, you have to do the following:
1. Access the Gmail application. Whichever account you are in, click on the hamburger menu, located at the top left of the page. It is right next to the Main red section.
2. Then scroll down and tap Settings, the option right next to the gear.
3. Within the Settings screen, you will see all the accounts that you have synchronized on this phone. From here you could carry out any necessary adjustments regarding the account. We talk about categories, notifications, signature, smart responses, automatic responses, synchronization or labels, among many other options.
4. But what interests us at the moment is to delete one of these accounts. Click on the More icon (of the three vertical dots), located at the top right of the screen. Select the Manage accounts option.
5. Next, a screen will appear that may mislead you a bit. What you have to do is click on the option that Google says.
6. Now you will see again the Google accounts that you have synchronized. Click on the account you want to delete. You will go to the Synchronization screen.
7. Click on the icon with the three dots. Choose Delete account. A message will appear indicating the following: "All messages, contacts and other data in this account will be deleted from the phone."
8. If you are clear, click on Delete.
And that's all. The email account will have been removed from your device. You will no longer receive notifications, nor will you receive suggestions from Google to carry out certain actions.
