Unified Remote
Managing your computer with your Android mobile couldn't be easier since the arrival of this application. It allows our device to become a virtual keyboard, mouse, or even a file explorer or task manager. The service works through the interaction between an application that we will have to install on our device and the program that will act as a server on our computer. In this way, when we start the mobile app before installing the desktop program, both services will be associated if they are connected to the same WiFi network.It will also be possible to make the connection through buetooth, choosing the connection ports or assigning a password. Note that this application is free, although we will find a paid version with more functions.
Remote Control Collection
Like the previous application, Remote Control Collection will allow you to turn your Android phone into a kind of remote control to control your PC when you are away from your computer. You will have to install a program on your computer, in addition to the relevant mobile app. During the installation you will have to give special permissions so that the firewall does not block it. Once you have installed the program on your computer, it will assign you an IP, which will be detected by the application as soon as it is opened. In this way, the two devices will be linked and you can start managing the different functions of your computer from your phone. There is also a paid version, but with the free one we can do the main thing.
TeamViewer for Remote Control
Finally, TeamViewer gives us secure, stable and fast remote access, both on Windows computers, as well as those with Mac or Linux. It will allow us to enter all our documents and installed applications, just as if we were in front of our computer. To start using this app, the first thing we have to do is install the program for the computer we want to access. When we have done this, we can enter and start using any action from the virtual keyboard that we will see on our Android mobile. It will also be possible to perform all the usual mouse gestures, such as right click, left click, even scroll. In short: thanks to this app we will have our computer in our pocket. The only thing to keep in mind is that it will be necessary to have a fast and stable WiFi connection for it to work well, otherwise we could run into some problems.
