- For example, if we want to assign a notification sound to the Gmail application, the steps to follow are very simple. First we enter the application, then we press the button for additional mobile settings (normally it is a button with the icon of a rectangle with several parallel lines inside), then we press the " Settings " option and select the email account to which we want to assign a specific sound. Once we have selected the account, we only have to click on the option " Vibration and sound of Inbox " to assign the sound to the notifications of this email account.
- With other applications the steps to follow are practically the same. Another example: WhatsApp, the popular instant messaging application. We enter the application, press the additional settings button, click on the " Notifications " option and in the " Notification tone " section we can choose the sound we want to assign to incoming notifications from this application.
Applications like Gmail even allow us to add a specific sound for each email account that we have linked to the phone, so taking advantage of this functionality will save us a lot of time when it comes to consulting only the notifications that interest us.
