iOS has evolved, so that the user can find more and more tools to help them when using their iPhone. One of them is the Do Not Disturb mode, a very useful function when we do not want to use the device, either because we are at an important dinner or a work meeting. Basically, with this mode we prevent any type of notification from reaching us. Also calls, which we will not receive unless we have configured otherwise.
We can configure the Do Not Disturb mode from the settings section, or from the control center by clicking on the moon-shaped icon. Keep reading if you are interested in knowing how to do it.
This is how you can configure Do Not Disturb mode on your iPhone
If you want to configure Do Not Disturb Mode on your iPhone, the first thing you have to do is go to the Settings section of your device and click on Do Not Disturb. When you are inside, you will see that you have different options at your fingertips to configure this mode according to your needs.
The first thing you will see is a tab to enable or disable Do Not Disturb Mode. If you activate it, notifications and calls will be silenced. In any case, a little further down you have the possibility of receiving calls from specific contacts. In Allow calls you can set whether you want calls from Everyone, Nobody, Favorites or Contacts. In this way, you will not have to do without all the calls, being able to have the Do Not Disturb mode activated, but you can talk to those people you want.
On the other hand, you can activate the Repeated calls option. What does that mean? That if a person calls again in less than three minutes the call will not be silenced, even if you have it blocked in Allow call. And it may be something important, so we recommend that you activate it.
Another great feature of this Do Not Disturb Mode is the ability to program it. If you click on Scheduled you can set the exact time you want to enjoy this mode. From and until the time you choose. Likewise, you can activate the option Dim the locked screen, which darkens the locked screen and sends notifications to the notification center during that period.
