The Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 is Samsung's flagship mobile for the mid-range. A complete team, with several high-end functions and many interesting additions. One of them is Always on Display, Samsung's always-on screen. This feature was released on the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and Samsung Galaxy S7. Basically, it consists of showing basic information about the mobile when we have the screen off.

Removing this feature is really easy. Just go to the phone's settings panel, and then get into the screen section. There we will see the option of Always On Display of Samsung Galaxy A5 2017. Once we have unchecked this option, we will stop seeing elements with the screen off.

How to configure Always On Display

Now, there are several options to configure this function to our liking. To customize the always-on screen, the menu we must access is Designs.

If we click on Content to show we can choose between three main modes: clock, calendar or image.

In both cases we have the possibility to change the color in which the digits are displayed and add a colored background from behind (with eight different backgrounds).

In the case of opting for the calendar, we will only have one option by default. In this case there is no further customization.
