Instagram is the social network for sharing photographic files with the most active users today. More than 400 million people share their photos daily on this social platform, which continues to grow so unbeatable. We share our photos but, unlike other social networks, we cannot share the publications of other users from the application itself. In the same way, it is not possible to download these photos to our phone for example - always indicating the author as a source - to use them in our blogs. To be able to "regramme" photos that we liked or insert them in our publications, we have several alternatives and we are going to show them to you in this article.
Use an external application
This is the most popular option of all. The vast majority of applications of this nature are free, so don't make the mistake of paying for one of them. From here we recommend Repost for Instagram, it takes a long time and gives good results, even allowing you to edit the image again before publishing it. It also includes a frame with the mention of the user which are taking photography. To start using, all we need is to download it to our device and log in with our Instagram username and password.. We choose the photo we want to share by searching for it through the user who published it or one of the hashtags it contains. We recommend searching by user, it is much faster. Once we select the photo we will have four different options to frame the author's name, we choose one of them and click on “repost”. Immediately the photo will appear on your profile along with a comment mentioning its author. The comment is optional and we have the possibility to delete it if we want.
Using the photo embed code
The second way we propose to share photos is focused on sharing them on blogs or web pages. Within the web version of Instagram we look for the photo that we want to share on our site, at the bottom right we will see three points, if we click on them we will have the option "insert code", we click on it and copy the code that appears. Insert the code on our blog, web or article. The code is HTML and will be loaded immediately into the Instagram frame.
Taking an image capture
This way is perhaps the most obvious and the most used so far. The only downside is that photos lose quality when captured. If what we want is to publish the photo on Instagram, this is not a problem. It is as simple as looking for the photo we want and taking a screenshot. Then we upload it from our reel as if it were a normal photo but making sure to keep the username of the person who took the photo. Instagram photos belong to their authors and could disable your account if you do not give credit to the original author. By doing this step we also have the possibility to edit or add filters to the photos.
