Among less advanced users of the Android operating system, tasks as basic as taking a screenshot or changing the interface keyboard can become a real headache. But, regardless of the manufacturer of our smartphone, actions such as copying a link from the browser have the same procedure, regardless of whether our mobile is from Samsung, Huawei, Sony or LG. On this occasion, what we are going to explain in this simple tutorial is how to share web links from the browser on Android.
Let's imagine that, for example, we need to share a web page or a specific news item through WhatsApp. What is the procedure? In that case, the steps that we must carry out are organized such that:
- Inside the browser (regardless of whether we are using Chrome, Firefox, Opera or the default browser of our mobile), if we look at the top of the screen, we should see a rectangle with text inside ( http: // www. .com ); that is the web address of the page that we are seeing at that moment, and it is the link that we must copy to be able to share it with another person.
- To copy the link, what we have to do is keep our finger pressed on the address of the web page that appears in the rectangle located at the top of the screen. After holding down the finger for a few seconds, we should see how the link is automatically selected (the most common is that a blue background appears over the link).
- Then, to be able to copy that link, what we have to do is keep our finger pressed for a few seconds on the link until we are shown several options. Among these options we should see one with the name " Copy " (or, failing that, an option with the icon of two pages placed one after the other); click on that option.
- Now the link is ready to be shared. If we want to send it to a contact on WhatsApp, all we have to do is open the chat of that contact, keep our finger pressed on the rectangle in which we normally write the text and, when we are shown an option, click on the one of " Paste ". We send the message and our contact will receive the web page or the news that we wanted to share with him; In addition, with the recent WhatsApp update, our contact will be able to preview the link that we have shared with him.
