There are different virtual keyboards on the market that can be downloaded for Google's mobile platform, Android, from the Google Play application store. Some of them are paid and many others are free. But, for example, if the keyboard that comes by default in the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 does not convince the client, he must download and install one of the variants offered by the developers. We explain how to change the virtual keyboard of the Korean model in several simple steps.
In the first place, we will do the test with the AnySoftKeyboard keyboard which, in addition to changing the appearance of the virtual keyboard, also offers packages in different languages to adapt both the predictive text. "" How to offer the different special characters of each language.
Once it has been downloaded and installed on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, the user must go to the main Android menu where all the icons of the installed applications are found. Once inside, look for the "Settings" icon and select it. Within this menu there are different sections: wireless connections; device; personal; accounts and system. The section that is of interest in this regard is the one that refers to "Personal". And more specifically to the option called "Language and introduction".
Within this, the user can configure different aspects of the Samsung mobile, including the language in which the entire operating system will be used. Although in this case we will have to look at the section that is just below the language. There you should see how the name of the new keyboard appears along with other options such as Google's voice typing or Samsung's own keyboard. Ie: the new installed AnySoftKeyboard keyboard should appear as one of the options to check. And for this to work, its box must be checked. Although this is not enough for the changes to take effect.
And is that there is another option at the top in which it is proposed which of the installed keyboards will be the default; the keyboard that will work at all times and in all applications installed on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. To change the default configuration, which in this case will be "Samsung keyboard", you must click on the option and choose the keyboard you want as the default. Once this step is done, the changes will have taken effect without having to restart the Korean terminal.
But beware, for example, in this specific case, so that everything works well in Spanish "" or any other language "", the client must download, also free of charge, the package of the language in which he normally writes from the terminal. Of course, if the keyboard finally does not convince, the steps to follow to change the text input method will be the same. And if you don't want to take up space in the memory, you will simply proceed to uninstall the keyboard from the internal memory as follows:
We must go to "Settings" and in the "Device" section enter the "Applications Manager" option. Once inside, the upper tab that says "All" will be marked and look for the keyboard that has been previously installed. It will be selected and within the next menu there is an option that is "Uninstall".
